Biospecimens in FDO world

چکیده

With the advent of technological advances in research settings, scientific collections including sample material became on par with big data. Consequently there is a widespread need to highlight and recognise inherent value samples coupled efforts unlocking potential as resources for new discovery. Samples informative metadata can be more easily discoverable, readily shared reused, allowing reanalysis associated datasets, avoiding duplicate efforts, providing metaanalysis yielding considerably enhanced insight. Metadata provides framework consistent, systematic standardized collection information, enabling users identify availability output from samples, relevancy their intended use, way conveniently well access provenance information related physical samples. Researchers this essential aiding decision making process quality, usability accessibility datasets. We propose explore practical implementation FAIR Digital Objects (FDO) biological life science practically how create an FDO centralized around biospecimen linked PIDs (Persistent Identifiers)Klump et al. 2021. This effort highly relevant enhancing portability between multiple repositories other kinds (e.g. e-infrastructures). In session we would like present our current work order mobilize community define Object Architecture all infrastructure components e.g. metadata, integration technical solutions. To that end, practice aim to: What : Identify minimum set attributes required describing (Minimal Information About Biological Sample, MIABS) ontological mapping semantic unambiguity machine actionability. registering biospecimens will operate ecosystem. pave coupling descriptive digital object comprehensive manner. How Define model biospecimens. role registration kernel translates actionability programmatic decisions. specifics FDOs operational e-infrastructures, machines. Relevant technologies include: RO-Crate, Persistent identifiers, schemas The recent partnership IGSN DataCite described below catalyst call action build Community Practice (CoP) specifically focused practice: e.V. announced DataCite, which DataCite’s services supporting technology Identifiers (another type PID) are now being leveraged register IDs, thus ensure ongoing sustainability ID infrastructure. Importantly, two organizations also focusing community’s advocacy expanding global Assisted by Manager, establishing working groups (Communities Practice) within different domains support development promotion methods identifying, citing, locating particular, wishes Biosamples elaborate necessary (metadata) such those have full understanding when its webpage accessed via PID, see example.

the tragedy of modern man in arthur millers world

what miller wants is a theatre of heightened consciousness. he speaks of two passions in a man, the passion to "feel" and the passion "know". he belives that we can have more of the latter. he says: drama is akin to the other inventions of man in that it ought to help us know more and not merely to spend our feelings. the writing of the crucible shows us that he is trying to give more heightene...
